I joined a group also doing a quilt along so now I am off to make 9 patches we are supposed to make one everyday. I am behind so I have to catch up. This one is a little of a challenge for me because if I piece I usually strip piece or paperpiece. So off for the challenge. I know I can do this!

I love fabric. I love to look at it. I love to create with it. I love quilts and quilting. I have been sewing since I was a small child. I took a sewing in high school and I was bored out of my mind. Who teaches a 16 year old how to make a slip in the 70's when if we were wearing a dress it was not the type that needs a slip. I really don't enjoy sewing my own clothes partly because I never got much instruction in alterations and nothing ever fits me very well. But I do love sewing baby, toddler and preschool little girls dresses. I'll probably be showing you a few because I now have a new grandaughter!
I do have two grandsons. I babysit the youngest so you will see photo's of him. But I promise I won't turn this into a baby blog at least I will try not to. Come and visit often and see what I am sewing and please leave a comment and let me know you came by.

You can do 9 patches by strip piecing. If you are using two colors you make 2 different sets of 3 that are then cut to size. Makes the process a whole mlot faster.
